In this article we will be looking at other golf courses that you should visit if you are planning a golf trip to Chicago.

Prairie Landing

If you happen to be a golf lover and you are living in Chicago then you anticipated that the ThunderHawk Golf Club would be making it into the list. This particular course has proven to be very challenging especially with the winds playing a big part on how the ball will land. In addition to that the course also has some interesting fairways that dodge and dip. It's also unique in that, there is a railroad track that closely skirts it.

ThunderHawk

Located in the Beach Park, the ThunderHawk Golf Club is a one of a kind municipal golf course. The course has everything right and all its details have been made very clear. The fact that the course is owned by the Lake Country, Illinois Forest Preserve District and its very intact and in good condition has surprised many people including me.

There you go, the top golf courses that are a must visit if you are planning on going to Chicago for a golf trip. If you happen to leave in Chicago, then this golf courses should be on the top of your list of go to courses in Chicago.
