KPMG Women's PGA Championship, Round Three

On Saturday afternoon, Inbee Park fired a 7 under 66. She made a lead from 2 strokes in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. You already know that this championship is held at the Westchester Country Club in Harrison, New York. Park had the best 18 hole performance in the championship and the best round of the day. She wants to win her 6th major championship in her career.
Park, is currently ranked as No. 2 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. She is also a 2 time defending championship. Park won at: Monroe Country Club (2014) and Locust Hill Country Club (2013). Inbee Park said that when you are trying to win the same championship for the second or third time in a row, you feel relaxed and you are under less stress. You must know that golfers in the LPGA are under a lot of stress, and they need moments like this.
Sei Young Kim won two times (Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic and Lotte Championship). She managed this during her rookie season. Kim wants to be the first rookie who won the major championship. You know that Anna Nordqvist accomplished, in 2009, the feat at the Bulle Rock Golf Course. She did this at the Havre de Grace, Maryland. Last season, Hyo Joo Kim, won the title at the Evian Championship. This was the first major of her career.
South Korea natives, Sei Young Kim and Inbee Park dueled more than once. In Oahu (Hawaii), Kim won the LOTTE Championship. Many experts say, that she ‘’stole’’ the title from Park. Kim shipped on the 18th hole and forced a playoff. She claimed the victory thanks to the eagle on the home 73.
