Horschel Apologizes Following His Remarks At The U.S. Open
Just a few days after making some shocking and well true remarks while taking part at the U.S. Open, Billy Horschel has come out to apologize for some of his remarks.
There were many players who felt let down by how the golf course at this year’s U.S. Open was and no other player was vocal than Billy Horschel. The player, when he had the opportunity told the world as well as the organizers of the event how he feels about the course and trusts me it wasn’t pretty at all. That said he ended up getting at least what he wanted as the USGA opted to go with one of the suggestions that he had made.
And now, with just a few days after the U.S. Open came to an end Billy Horschel has come out publicly and is offering his apologies. Don’t mistake what he is apologizing for, the apology that he gave out are for his actions and not the criticism that he had for the USGA as well as the Chambers Bay.
Just like any other celebrity or popular golfer will do, Billy Horschel took to his Twitter account where he issued out an apology for his actions.
“I want to apologize for my actions when I was at the 6th green on Sunday during the U.S. Open. I never hit the green using my putter, still that I behavior that is not appropriate.”
Jordan Spieth ended up carrying the day as he won the U.S. Open championship.
