Tiger Woods wants to play in the Masters

Tiger Woods doesn’t want to take some time off to improve his game for the Masters. Although, he should fix some problems in his game, he is more focused on just playing! Maybe this is a mistake. In Phoenix, his 82 shoot was very bad, and withdrawing from Torrey was even worse. The reason for withdrawing was a pain, so how will he play Masters?! The good side is time. He will have up to six weeks to improve himself and resolve these problems. During that time he will have to work hard, and he must win at least one tournament. The Augusta National is the best way to see his progress, because this competition is known for revealing all weaknesses of players. It is possible to see Tiger Woods at the Honda or Bay Hills, but they are irrelevant. The real goal is the Masters. But, for this great player, things are not very good with this championship. He hasn’t won more than 10 years! Maybe, this year’s Masters will be better, but I doubt that!

According to Jeff Ritter (Sports Illustrated Golf Group), Tiger had problems in December at the World Challenge, and he will have 50 days to improve himself for Phoenix competition. This is very hard, almost impossible. Although Tiger has a lot of pride, this will not help him. And if we know that Augusta National is the hardest competition in the world, it will be hard for Tiger to show us some good results and go to the Masters.

Woods was the best golf player in the world. Now, he is just an average player.
